This safari trip had got derailed multiple times due to the pandemic and I am really thankful to my ex Axis colleague Mr. Subhabrata Basak (www.Savanasafari.in) who arranged it meticulously. Armed with multiple cameras and over almost a fortnight we witnessed and captured some great moments in both the countries. I realised at the end of it that what you really require is good guidance and thanks to Basak we had two of the best guides - Charles and Mathew - who made sure that we were almost always at the right spot and appreciated through their knowledge what’s happening around. “In June 2022, I decided to visit Kenya safari right after my nephew’s marriage. From my net-search, I found Savana Safari to be the most interesting and I contacted them. Mr. Shuvrat from Savana Safari helped me a lot to decide on what safari I should take. We finally decided on an 8 day safari covering Masai Mara, Nakuru, Naivasha, Amboseli and Tsavo. Mr. Suvrat designed the safari so nicely that we had minimum time on the road and maximum time in Jungles. The guide, Mr. Robert and Nadzua from Kenya were very helpful to me to guide for safari. We went to all safari and Robert showed me all animals including Cheetah and Leopard. We were also very lucky to witness the great migration. He was never tired of long drives to take me throughout the Safari. Accommodations were also great. Now I am planning to visit it again with my friends and family via Savana Safari so that they also can have the great experience offered by Savana Safari. “We had a grand family safari experience organized by Savana Safari in Kenya - Masai Mara, Nakuru, Naivasha and Amboseli. My parents wanted to experience the safari with their grandson, thus we had folks in all age groups in our group. Each and everyone had an excellent time enjoying the safari. Note that we had opted for the private Land Cruiser with the open top. We got to see tons of animals in their natural setting going about their business - millions of wildebeest migrating, hundreds of zebra inter mingled with them, huge herds of elephants, many bachelor and breeding herds of impala, giraffes, Cape buffalo, white and black rhino, Cheetah with a young family, pride of Lions and a lone Hyena on the hunt. Seeing these majestic creatures in their natural element is a feeling that cannot be described easily in words. The most magical experience was watching a pride of lions consisting of 4 adult females and 5 young ones hunting. They walked right by our vehicle on the way. Although we did not see the actual kill the way they move in sync and their intense focus was a sight. Almost everyone we met thought we were lucky to see all these animals. I believe it was the excellent knowledge of our guide/driver Edwin who was with us for all the 8 days that made it possible. He was very knowledgeable and knew where the animals would go next once we spotted them in the distance. My son grew a special bond with him over the course and was very impressed by him. Last but not the least the safari can get very hectic thus having a good rest in the evening/night is very important. Especially for us given we had septuagenarians in our group. Thats where the arrangements that Mr. Shubhorato Basak made for us were excellent. Beautiful picturesque resorts with comfortable stays and excellent food options made our trip possible. Special thanks to him for organizing the whole trip for us tailored to our needs."

"Nice tour overall. Ideally , Amboseli national park should be visited first. Vegetarian food options are limited , but you can manage. We saw plenty of animals. Only things we missed was the wildebeest migration crossing the mara river which happens in June till August only and we couldn't see Rhinos which are present only at Ol pejeta and Lake Nakuru.”
"We visited Kenya in October 2023 on game drives arranged by Savana Safari. We had a very pleasant guidance and booking experience with Mr Shubh personally co-ordinating on every step. Mr Shubh was very genuine and informative through the entire holiday experience. We were able to visit the Masai Mara National Reserve and Amboseli National park and Lake Naivasha along with a transit stay in Nairobi with arrangements as promised by Savana Safari. The free upgrade to a 4X4 land cruiser was a great surprise! We have some suggestions and feedback about our trip for Savana Safari purely from an intention to ensure they are able to incorporate them to make the tourists experience even smoother and fruitful who book with them going forward. Incase of group trips we would suggest for all the group member's staying arrangements to be made in the same resort or in case of different resorts they should be atleast within close proximity to each other, to avoid time wasted in transfers and rather utilised on game drives. Secondly, since the package is all inclusive/ full board, in case the guests are not able to reach the resort on time to avail any meal, the property needs to be informed well in advance so that alternate arrangements can be made by the resorts. We are truly thankful to Shubh and Savanah Safari for arranging our bucket list worthy safari trip to Kenya and would recommend them to anyone for the same without a doubt!""
